How much does a windshield repair cost?
Commercial: If you have more than 5 vehicles in your fleet you qualiff
for discounted pricing contact us for
details.
Retail: Most insurance companies will waive your deductible for your
widshield
repairs making it FREE to you. They do
this because they understand the cost of replacement is higher for you
and them. Retail customer price is $50.00
for the first break / chip 1"
inch
and below (roughly the size of a quarter and below) and $15.00 for each
additional break / chip on the same windshield for cars, trucks,
semi trucks, buses, vans & recreational vehicles
(RV's).
For Cracks it takes more time and we have to use more specially
formulated resin
(what we used fill your break with), so the price is a little higher:
1"-6" inches = $65.00 (less
than 1 dollar bill in length),
6"-12" inches =
$75.00 (less than 2
side by side dollar bills)
12"-18" inches = $85.00 (less
than 3 side by side dollar bills)
How is the windshield repair done?
The darkness you see in the break is air, we siphon the air out and
inject an acrylic resin into the break. It will usually clear up about
75-90%. The primary objective is to keep the break from spreading
across the whole windshield, to regain the integrity of the windshield,
and avoid the costly implications of having to replace the windshield
in the future.
How long does a windshield repair take?
Most repairs can be completed in only 15-20 minutes.
Where is your shop located?
We currently are strictly mobile; we come to you FREE
of charge, however in the near future we are planning on opening a few
drive-up locations for even more time convenience for you our valued
customers.
How do I find out if my insurance covers the
windshield repair?
We have direct network access and contact numbers of most insurance
companies that we call for your windshield repair authorization. They
will confirm that you are the insured policy holder, they will give us
a referral number, and all you have to do is authorize the service. The
insurance company gets billed for the windshield repair service making
it FREE to you. It is that easy!
